Reconstructed Arroz ala Cubana

Ingredients

3-4 cups cooked rice
½ kilo lean ground beef
1 clove garlic
½ white onion
1 carrot
1 potato
½ cup green peas
1 tomato (chopped)
½ cup raisins
¼ cup tomato paste
¼ cup Carnation Evap
4 saba bananas
9 quail eggs
Salt
Pepper
Vegetable oil
Parsley for plating

Procedures:

1. In a large skillet, sauté carrots and potatoes until it softens (2-3 minutes)

2. Add ground beef, garlic and onion. Render the beef until it is cooked (3-4 minutes)

3. Add peas, raisins and tomatoes. Continue cooking for another minute then add tomato paste. Season with salt and pepper.

4. In a mixing bowl, mix and fold Carnation Evap and mashed bananas. Set aside.

5. In a small non stick pan, fry quail eggs and set aside.

6. Plate everything using a circular mold. Serve.
